LOUGHBOROUGH HAIR SALON CELEBRATES 35 YEAR MILESTONE
The team at KH Hair Loughborough is celebrating as the salon reaches a 35 year milestone trading in the town.
The salon, which opened in Market Place in May 1984, has built up an enviable reputation for delivering excellent customer service from its talented and highly-experienced team. Run by Cate Rowlands and Sheralynne Shepherd, KH Hair now employs a team of 15 stylists and front of house staff.
Cate herself has been with the business from day one and says she is incredibly grateful to the team’s loyal clients, some who have been coming to the salon since it first opened its doors.
“I have been with KH Hair for 37 years now,” she says. “I trained at the Leicester salon originally but moved to the Loughborough salon the day it opened. Sheralynne and I took over the running of the salon in 2009 and we have worked really hard to build up a loyal client base over the years. We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful clients for their continued support.”
To show their appreciation to their hard-working team, Cate and Sheralynne will be celebrating the milestone by treating everyone to a luxury experience at the Clifford Day Spa.
Sheralynne, who started at the salon as a Saturday girl 20 years ago, before completing her training at the KH Hair Academy, says: “The team put all their effort into pampering our clients every day, so we thought it was high time they enjoyed some pampering of their own.”
As testament to the team’s hard work, the salon scooped the Salon Retail Improvement Award (sponsored by Sebastian) at this year’s KH Hair Award ceremony which was held at The Roundhouse in Derby on 13 April.
“Sheralynne and I are extremely proud of our team of dynamic and highly-skilled people who continue to deliver the very best in customer service and hairdressing skills in Loughborough.” added Cate. “Here’s to the next 35 years!”
